Ford’s original plastic clutch connections can limit flexibility when components need to be relocated or reconfigured in a performance or competition-car installation.
MODESTY developed a compact adapter to convert the original Ford/Mazda quick-connect interface to AN4/JIC-4, providing a robust connection and greater freedom when configuring the hydraulic system.
The MODESTY Duratec Remote Oil Filter Plate was developed to provide a more direct and adaptable route for remote filtration and competition oil-system installations.
The design removes restrictive oil pathways while supporting improved oil flow and effective pressure management. Dual M22 connections provide the main oil circuit, while three dedicated M10 ports provide flexibility for instrumentation and monitoring.
Oil temperature can be measured in the return flow immediately before oil re-enters the engine. Separate pressure take-offs allow combinations such as a pressure gauge alongside a pressure switch for warning or ECU monitoring applications.
